Read the warning and follow the instructions for the specific truck: regeneration or servicing may be needed. Do not ignore the warning or disable the exhaust aftertreatment system on your own initiative.

A simple explanation
Different messages can indicate different filter loading levels or faults, so a warning light alone cannot determine a single action for all vehicles. If the manufacturer permits regeneration while stationary, carry it out only in a suitable location: the exhaust gases can be very hot. If instructed to stop or seek servicing, follow that instruction.
