A simple explanation
Both individual axles and their group must be assessed. In this example, 9.2 + 9.1 = 18.3 t, and an 18 t limit applies to axle spacing of 1.35 m. Before departure, arrange a change to the load distribution or quantity and have the axle loads checked again.
Compliant individual axles do not necessarily mean a compliant group.
