Do not ignore the discrepancy: arrange for the pressure and tyre condition to be checked and the pressure restored in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions before the journey. If the tyre has already been used at very low pressure, it must be inspected by a specialist.
Please note
Inflating a damaged or severely deflated tyre can be dangerous; follow the tyre specialist's instructions.
A simple explanation
Insufficient pressure increases deformation, heating and rolling resistance. Simply inflating a tyre does not remove internal damage that has already occurred, so a tyre suspected of being damaged must not simply be inflated and considered repaired.
Pressure too low → inspection, not just more air.
