A locked rear wheel can cause the rear of the vehicle to skid and the vehicle to rotate. If a fault is the cause, stop safely and do not continue the journey until it has been repaired.

A simple explanation
A locked rear wheel maintains less lateral grip, so the rear of the vehicle may begin to skid and the vehicle may rotate. Uneven braking further disrupts stability. If this is a technical brake fault, you must stop safely and have the brakes repaired before continuing the journey.
