Winter diesel is formulated to flow and pass through filters better in cold conditions so that wax crystals do not block the filter. Its low-temperature properties differ from those of summer diesel.

Winter diesel properties are adapted to low temperatures to prevent fuel filters from becoming blocked as waxes crystallise. Its cold flow and filterability grade is therefore important. Choose fuel according to the expected weather conditions.
